Domestic enger services resumed on May 25 last year after nearly two months of suspension to combat the coronavirus outbreak.

Meanwhile, the cap on the number of domestic flights that Indian airlines were permitted to operate will remain at 80% of their pre-COVID levels till March 31 or till the summer schedule begins.

“As per the prevailing situation of COVID-19, the central government…directs the order dated 3 December, 2020, shall remain in force till 2359 hrs on 31 March, 2021 or till the date of commencement of summer schedule 2021, whichever is earlier or until further orders,” the Civil Aviation Ministry said.
