His test result came on Tuesday morning and it showed negative.

The chief minister informed this on his official Twitter handle.

‘My COVID-19 test results came NEGATIVE. For next 7 days I will follow home quarantine & other guidelines. Also I will work from home.
I thank beloved people of Tripura for your wishes and prayers.
The fight against COVID-19 will continue and together we shall win.’
He also informed that next seven days, he will be under home quarantine and will follow other guidelines.
He will work from home.
It is notable that on Monday night, two family of Deb tested COVID-19 positive.
After that the chief minister has been in home isolation.
His other family were also found negative.
