A man from heroin worth Rs 30,000.

The man identified as Assisul Haq alias Tinku Bhai was arrested in Aluva, a northern suburb of the city of Kochi located in Kerala.

According to reports, Haq used to sell the illegal drugs in small packets costing Rs 3000 each.

The police said that the drugs are known as ‘Tinku’s Masala’ among the s and he used to teach first-time s the way of using the drugs at a secret location.

An excise official said that Haq used to sell a maximum of 10 gm heroin at a time.

In order to arrest Haq, excise sleuths posed as drug s and ordered for a maximum quantity of heroin from him. Later when he turned up with the drug, the excise sleuths arrested him.

He was arrested from Aluva Government Hospital by Aluva excise shadow team led by range excise inspector TK Gopi.

As per reports, the excise sleuths seized 10 packets of heroin from Haq and each of these packets weighs 1 gm.

The team who made the seizure includes preventive officer A Vasudevan, team ND Tony and NG Ajithkumar, civil excise officers Prasannan and Sasi Achari.

Haq had confessed to the police that he used to source the heroin from Nagaon in Assam.

The police received information about Haq when they arrested another Assam native named Mathibu Rahman with 2.75 gm of heroin.
